Alexander Myasoedov

Received the Specialist (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from the Moscow State University (MSU), Moscow, Russia, in 2007, with the thesis on the topic of the LHC ALICE SPD radiation tolerance. He received the Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences (Ph.D.) degree in Oceanography from the Russian State Hydrometeorological University (RSHU), St.Petersburg Russia, in 2014, with the thesis dedicated to the retrieval of spatial variations of the mean square slope (MSS) of the sea surface from Sun glint imagery. In 2007-2011 he was enrolled in the Nansen Fellowship Program, conducting research at the Nansen Center (NIERSC) in St.Petersburg. He has been with the RSHU since 2007, and since 2011 as a Researcher at the Satellite Oceanography Laboratory of the RSHU. His interests mainly include synergistic approaches in Ocean Remote Sensing, SAR and optical imagery, image processing, IPython Notebook and kendo :)
