Elena Chatzimichali
I am a research scientist at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute – Genome Campus Cambridge, with a PhD in Machine Learning and Data Mining. Over the past six years I have been actively involved in lecturing, tutoring and developing a wide range of specialised courses for both academic and professional audiences. My research focuses on the development, implementation and optimisation of complex statistical models and novel computational tools for biological and medical applications.
