Christoph Groth

Dr. Christoph Groth, a staff researcher at CEA Grenoble, France, works in the field of theoretical condensed matter physics. More specifically, he occupies himself with quantum transport in nanoscale devices. He has been fascinated by computing ever since he got a ZX Spectrum at the age of six, and over time became a fervent supporter of free software. Luckily, the mountains around Grenoble succeed in luring him away from the screen regularly.

Christoph is one of the main developers of Kwant, a Python package for quantum transport simulations.
