I am a final year PhD candidate working on large scale models of the primary visual cortex. As part of my work I work with large volumes of modeling data and have developed a number of open source Python packages to facilitate the interactive exploration of this data, while preserving reproducibility. In particular I have co-authored the UK Open Source award winning HoloViews library which supports this workflow through tight integration with the IPython notebook. While I complete my PhD I am now employed by my department at the University of Edinburgh to lead Tutorials and provide support for this software. Now I look forward to finally share it with a wider audience!
