Juan Nunez-Iglesias

I'm a research scientist at the Victorian Life Sciences Computation Initiative (VLSCI) at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I'm passionate about image analysis, computer vision, and neuroscience (particularly connectomics). I'm also an advocate for open source scientific software and open science. Last but not least, I'm an avid member of the SciPy community — a core developer of the scikit-image library and, with Harriet Dashnow and Stéfan van der Walt, I'm working on an O'Reilly book called Elegant SciPy.
