Gunay Dogan - Theiss Research, NIST

I obtained my PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2006. I am currently a Research Scientist at Theiss Research and a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in USA. My research is in image processing, inverse problems and scientific computing. To solve problems in these areas, I develop numerical tools for partial differential equations (PDE), variational problems, and optimization (shape optimization and PDE-constrained optimization). My development environment is Python, NumPy and SciPy.
