I studied Physics at Heidelberg University and did a PhD in gamma-ray astronomy at the MPI for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg. Now as a postdoc I'm continuing to work on the gamma-ray survey of the Milky Way with the H.E.S.S. and Fermi telescopes and I'm helping develop the data analysis open-source software for the upcoming CTA observatory.
I've done astronomical data simulation and analysis (mostly C++, Python) for a while and recently became interested in web technologies and visualisation.
