Abstract

The goal of this talk is to give an introduction about 'Networkx' - a python software package aimed at creating complex networks. The Networkx package is well tested and they use standard graph algorithms. We can use it to generate classic graphs, random graphs or synthetic networks.

In this talk we will explain the basics of networkx, discuss some of the graph algorithms and the need for generatng a graphical network. We will further emphasis more on the python packages that Networkx uses and explain in detail about its functionality.

We also plan to show demo of some of the network structures generated by Networkx. This talk is targetted for all students and professionals who are interested in python or networks and wish to contribute for the same.
