Scipy is a general-purpose scientific package, companion to Numpy. It encompasses features from various numerical computation tasks, from linear algebra to image processing, as well as optimization.
This tutorial is a guided tour of the package. A quick overall presentation will be given first, to get an idea of all the available functions. Then some selected features will be highlighted, to show some practical usage and get a feeling of the API. Emphasis will be on practical use cases, from simple real-world examples.
