Travel Support

The EuroSciPy 2013 team is happy to announce that thanks to NumFOCUS and PySV, travel support will be provided to a small number of students or participants based on their contribution to the conference and/or to the scientific Python tools ecosystem.

Numfocus and Der Python Software Verband are offering support to students or active members of the scientific Python community for their attendance to the conference. To apply, please write an email to Didrik Pinte (dpinte AT fastmail.fm) stating briefly:
- your current status (student, employee, volunteer, ...).
- your involvement in the scientific Python community.
- the reason for your participation (attending, presenting a project or a scientific result, working on package, ...).
- for people in industry or in an academic research group, please specify why other sources of funding could not be obtained.

You must not exceed 400 words in your application email.

Eligible applicationts will receive a maximum of 250 euros. Do not wait to apply, the first applicants will be given priority if the other criteria are equal.
